Seventeen years ago, way back in 2009, a close friend asked me to make a video for another close friend. One video turned into two. Then came a major label record deal. And then two videos became five.

These aren’t my best work, but they’re where it all began. I’m still immensely proud of what we achieved, often on a shoestring budget.

Each video pushed me to try something new and demanded a hustle mentality that’s never left me.

They gave me the space to cut my teeth, make mistakes, learn, and build lasting relationships while doing what I’d always wanted to do, alongside my mates.

I still love these videos. I’ll always love the music. And I’ll never stop loving “Russo.” Most directors hate their early work. I’m not like most directors.

Having them all here, seventeen years later, reminds me where it all began, and just how far I’ve come.
