EDUCATION

Isaac is passionate about teaching and works extensively as an educator, supporting emerging creatives with practical routes into developing their skills and careers. Across his teaching and filmmaking roles, he is committed to widening access to the creative industries, particularly for underrepresented filmmakers.

He lectures and leads filmmaking courses and workshops for a range of institutions. He is an Associate Lecturer on the MA Scriptwriting programme at Goldsmiths, University of London, a Tutor in Screenwriting and Directing at Met Film School, and a Mentor Playwright for the National Theatre New Views Programme.

Isaac has devised and delivered scriptwriting and filmmaking workshops for The King’s Trust and Iconic Steps, a socially conscious creative agency supporting diverse young people entering the media industries.

He also devises and facilitates workshops for The London Screen Academy, where he provides writer-in-residence and script support services, as well as working with community theatre groups and schools.

Proven results, fast.
Across intensive five-day courses, students consistently complete full short scripts while gaining practical tools they continue using long after the course ends. The focus is on finishing work, not just talking about it.

Industry-led teaching with real-world insight.
Isaac brings active industry experience into every workshop, combining storytelling craft with an honest understanding of how film and TV actually work. This gives students clarity, confidence, and realistic pathways forward.

Engaging, hands-on, and rigorous.
Sessions are practical, interactive, and demanding in the right way. Exercises are designed to unlock creativity, sharpen instincts, and push writers beyond their comfort zone without losing support or care.

Inclusive, confidence-building environments.
Whether working with first-time writers, young people, or experienced creatives, Isaac creates spaces where everyone feels encouraged, challenged, and taken seriously. Confidence growth is a consistent outcome.

Trusted by institutions and industry.
Isaac has delivered workshops for schools, creative organisations, and is trusted by production companies and executives in the UK and US for his creative judgement, professionalism, and collaborative approach.
